FBI Raids Pro-Lifer’s Home, Arrests Him In Front Of His Kids After Ignoring Pro-Abortion Terrorism
The case against Mark was thrown out of the district court in Philadelphia earlier this year, LifeSiteNews reported, but the FBI picked it up as the federal agency continues to wage war on the administration’s political opponents. Jacqueline C. Romero, the U.S. attorney whose signature is on Houck’s indictment, is a Biden appointee whom the DOJ bragged is “the first woman of color and the first person to identify as LGBTQIA+ to lead the Office,” as investigative journalist Julie Kelly pointed out on Twitter.
The indictment shows a grand jury decided to charge Mark with “verbally confronting [the pro-abortion man] and forcefully shov[ing him] to the ground in front of the [Planned Parenthood Center], causing injuries … that required medical attention.” Brian Middleton, a spokesman for the Houck family, says that “medical attention” was merely “a Band-Aid on his finger.” A release order reveals Mark was required to post $10,000 bond and is currently barred from returning to sidewalk counsel at the abortion center.
The FBI’s use of blatant intimidation and excessive force to target a pro-life leader comes after pro-abortion agitators spent months vandalizing and even firebombing dozens of pro-life pregnancy resource centers and churches across the country. It took a month and a half and a pressure campaign from concerned congressional leaders and senators to get the FBI to even say it was “investigating” these attacks, but we have yet to see any SWAT-style raids like what the Houcks endured levied at firebombers whose criminal behavior advanced the regime’s agenda.
Pro-Life Advocate Mark Houck Offered to Talk to FBI 3 Months Ago, It Raided His Family Anyway
But, new information for Houck’s attorney, Thomas More Society Vice President and Senior Counsel Peter Breen, indicates Houck agree months ago to turn himself in voluntarily.
In June 2022, Thomas More Society attorneys notified the Biden Department of Justice that the FACE Act does not cover one-on-one altercations like the one involving Houck, which was initiated by the abortion proponent who was harassing Houck’s son. The Department of Justice was also advised that if the decision was made to bring a charge against Houck despite lack of legal foundation, Houck would appear voluntarily.
“Rather than accepting Mark Houck’s offer to appear voluntarily, the Biden Department of Justice chose to make an unnecessary show of potentially deadly force, sending twenty heavily armed federal agents to the Houck residence at dawn this past Friday,” explained Breen. “In threatening form, after nearly breaking down the family’s front door, at least five agents pointed guns at Mark’s head and arrested him in front of his wife and seven young children, who were terrified that their husband and father would be shot dead before their eyes.”
“This case is being brought solely to intimidate people of faith and pro-life Americans,” stated Breen. “Mark Houck is innocent of these lawless charges, and we intend to prove that in court.”

If the DOJ pursue the charges, it will be going against court precedent. In June 2019, Thomas More Society attorneys won a case in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, establishing that a one-off altercation, like the one in which the Biden Department of Justice is levying two counts against Houck, cannot form the basis for a FACE claim.

The FBI seems intent on acting like something out of a old movie in terms of arresting people. Excessive force and gross intimidation for people with no history of violence. Can't help be see the message. Isn't a good one.

Durham seems to be ineffective. Too little, too late. Maybe the plan.
