Extra Run: Ketanji Brown Jackson & Black Hebrew Israelites

A lot came out this week in regards to Biden*s SCOTUS pick Ketanji Brown Jackson. One has to wonder what’s in the 48,000 documents Democrats withheld in regard to her. We’ve learned she can’t define a woman and likes to give light sentences to those who like to view child pornography.

Then there’s this:

Judge Jackson on Black Hebrew Israelites case: "This case involved a small community, a cultural community of people who believe in vegan lifestyles. They call themselves the African Hebrew Israelites, but it's not a religious community, it's a cultural community..."

The Black Hebrew Israelites are a violent group with a lot of hate. They are racist and anti-sematic. They direct this hate toward just about everybody.

They hurl anti-white, anti-Asian, homophobic slurs and more at anyone who catches their eye. But our experiences with them were nothing compared to others.

Glenn Beck does a good job of discussing who they are. Back in 2019, they were involved with the Covington Kids in DC:

"Before the Covington kids even showed up, there was a confrontation between the Native Americans and the Black Israelites," Glenn explained. "The atmosphere between the two was hostile, to say the least. It looked like a fight could break out any second. When the Covington kids did show up, this was the scene they suddenly found them selves in the middle of ... and then all of that rage, all of a sudden, was directed to [the Covington kids.]"
"The Black Israelites ... they redirect[ed] the hate onto this group of kids, all because they were white and they were wearing the red hat. That's it," he asserted. "So where is the outrage over what the Black Israelites were saying? Where's the outrage over a group of adult men directing hate, racism, and anger on a group of children, and inciting the Native Americans? Will no one assign any kind of culpability at all to these men? How is it that the group actually responsible for nearly all of this, barely gets even a mention in the story?"

Later in 2019:

In December of 2019, David N. Anderson, 47, and Francine Graham, 50 entered a kosher grocery store in Jersey City and began shooting, killing six including a police officer. It is believed that the pair mistakenly entered the store, having intended to attack a Jewish school next door.
Anderson was shot and killed by responding officers. An investigation in the aftermath of the tragedy found that he was a Black Hebrew Israelite and had posted anti-Semitic and anti-police diatribes on social media.
Later that month, Grafton E. Thomas, 37, another Black Hebrew Israelite entered a synagogue with a machete in Monsey, NY during a Hannukah celebration and attacked, injuring five and killing one. Law enforcement found journals in his home filled with antisemitism including materials about Adolf Hitler, Nazis and drawings of a swastika. They were also filled with writings linking him to the Black Hebrew Israelites.
Ironically, Thomas’ arrest as well as others for antisemitic attacks in New York that month, were the focal point of discussion when several of the suspects were released as a result of New York’s bail reform law.
The group’s crimes have not just been targeted at Jews. On June 30, 1974, Alberta Williams King, mother of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed by Marcus Wayne Chenault, a 23-year-old black man who had was a Black Hebrew Israelite.

Anti-Defamation League:

“The Black Hebrew Israelite (BHI) movement is a fringe religious movement that rejects widely accepted definitions of Judaism and asserts that people of color are the true children of Israel,”

Southern Poverty League:

“They believe that Jewish people are ‘fake Jew’ imposters who will be supplanted by them in the future,” said Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center, according to CNN. “They also believe that God will make whites, who these groups consider spawns of the devil, into their slaves, forced into eternal servitude.”

Back to Ketanji Brown Jackson. Whether they are religious or cultural, they are extremists. Her answers on this and many other subjects show she’s pure partisan. I expected nothing less from Biden* when she was nominated.
